Many of you know that Helene and Bob Davis sold the building they were going to develop as a home/studio/shop in downtown Paducah. The reason is we found a bigger one story building with the right zoning a few blocks away. We call it the Maytag building for some reason. But that building is far from ready for the AQS Quilt Show 2008. So this year we have rented space in the building across the street and will share it with Rachel who's name in Pashtu is Rayela and Irene.
Rachel is an amazing Blogger and has unusual international connections If you are a quilter or have an interest in fabric and clothing from around the world you need to read her fiber focus blog or visit her etsy store and see her web page.
During the 2008 AQS Quilt Show we will be at Two One Two - Just English Antiques at 212 Broadway is in the next block away from the river from the Yeiser Museum. The AQS Quilt Museum is exactly one block over down river (northwest) on Jefferson. the store is a llittle further west toward 3rd st than where the map pin shows on the right (click on images for closer look.)
Several other Paducah Fiber Artists will have some of their work there as well.
